Description

This is a collection of forms authorizing the release of personal effects of soldiers who had died in the Quartermaster Hospital located in Nashville, Tennessee during the American Civil War (1862-1865).

Inventory

This collection includes images of 74 forms. Just the front of the form was digitized unless there was information on the back side or if there was an accompanying item such as an envelope or loose note.
